STAND BY FOR JOOST de LANGE ROCK/BLUES EXPERIENCE!
Celebrating their 7th anniversary, Belgium’s Joost De Lange Rock/Blues Experience play some rare UK dates in support of their ‘Live In Antwerp’ CD.
The award winning Belgium guitarist originally learn’t his trade in the USA with Deep Fog Apple, and Zeeland band Yes You Did, before putting together his own band in 2010
Influenced by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Rory Gallagher, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joost made a splash with his won style on the well received ‘Magic Crow’ album in 2014.
Now comes the definitive ‘Live In Antwerp’, which is like experiencing Joost in your living room. Rock/Blues par excellence!
Influenced by Robben Ford and Robert Cray, they mix classy self penned material, with well chosen covers. Their consummate polish and spark is derived from the Peter Green influenced guitarist Bob Moore.
The band feature Stuart Son Maxwell (Mick Ralphs Band) vocals and harp / Bob Moore guitars / Russ Chaney (Larry Miller) drums / Ian Salisbury (Larry Miller Band) keyboards / Derek White (Larry Miller Band) bass
Storm Warning have earned a deserved reputation as one of the UK’s leading blues bands with the vocals and blues harp of Son Maxwell and the sublime guitar playing of Bob Moore.
In their 10 year history they have been featured several times on BBC Radio 2 as well as other radio stations in the UK, Europe and USA.
“Soulful gut-bucket groove that’s half hard times, half good-time-all-the-time….. they delve deep into breezy jazz, fiery rock or smoky R&B, but the blues always call them back.” Classic Rock
“The 5 piece Storm Warning bring a contemporary feel to classic blues-rock. Bob Moore is a tasteful guitarist and front man Son Maxwell (Mick Ralphs Band) sings like ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons did 30 years ago” – Blues review USA
